The goal of the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C) ICAC Program is to deliver training and provide technical assistance designed to serve the ICAC Task Force agencies by expanding and enhancing their computer forensic knowledgebase. Most of the courses for the ICAC Task Force are computer crime courses, which deal with computers and hand-held devices such as cell phones.
Length of programs: The NW3C Fast Track courses are typically week-long courses designed to be delivered in three sequential months.
Prerequisites: Please see each course description for the required prerequisite(s).
Max Class Size: The maximum amount of students allowed in each course will depend on which course it is, but most of NW3C courses are hands on and therefore limited to the size of the lab and/or number of computers, etc.
Target Audience: NW3C's Fast Track courses are targeted at law enforcement, including, parole/probation officers, investigators, detectives and prosecutors who are ICAC Task Force or Affiliate members.
